The Bad Hawaiian Shirts is a solo project but I am open to bringing in other musicians to collaborate from time to time. I record for the fun of it, in the basement"Almost all the early recordings were instrumentals but I am now experimenting with vocals.

Story behind the song
This is really just a demo, but I love the riff. It's a bit too repetitive though so at some point I will go back and modify the track. The riff and the keyboard parts are both played on the Yamaha MM6. The drums are recorded on two seperate tracks with two mic's, one down at bass level and one up above the snare and cymbals. The guitar part is pure experimentation, just lots of distortion and reverb and then adlib.
