I have been composing and recording my own music since 1998, and I started the Ormond Project in 1999. After years of practicing and transcribing the licks and solos of Carlos Santana, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, T-Bone Walker, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, David Gilmour and others, I realized one day that I had my own voice. This was a good thing; because I could not remember the licks I had learnt when it was time to solo. I love playing; writing, recording and seeing ideas come together. I find myself constantly thinking of things to add to a song hoping to make it interesting, be it lyric or sound. Fellow musicians and fans have described my playing as smooth. My favorite guitar is a Sixties Reissue Fender Stratocaster. I also have an Ibanez I use for a fatter, hotter, rock sound. My favorite amplifier tones are Fender, Marshall, and Mesa Boogie. My musical goals are to have fun, be original, and provide your ears with something a little different. Hope you like the sounds.

Story behind the song
This song is about carrying on with positive vibes even when life is not going well. A crying clown is the extreme since his job is to make the world laugh, regardless of what's happening in their personal life.
Lyrics
Old Joe (The Crying Clown) Old Joe sittings in his tent. The show must go on. Put on a happy face, This sadness must be gone! Grease paint will hide your tears, A baggie pants, your heart. A great big smile to the marching band, To the world, you play your part! No one must see the sadness. No one must see the tears. No one must see the loneliness, That has chased you through the years. That has chased you through the years. Old Joe’s life is not a happy one. Not that any one could tell. His courage floats in a whiskey cup, His dreams in the wishing well. His woman left him years ago. Tired of the circus life. Took what a man needs the most; A sweet, loving wife! No one must see the sadness. No one must see the tears. No one must see the loneliness, That has chased you through the years. That has chased you through the years. Old Joe sitting in his tent. The show must go one. Another day, another town, This sadness must be gone. Grease paint will hide your tears, A baggie pants your heart. A great big smile to the marching band, To the world, you play your part. No one must see the sadness. No one must see the tears. No one must see the loneliness, That has chased you through the years. That has chased you through the years. That has chased you through the years.
