Keith Duke studied music at the Royal Academy of Music in London, and taught music in secondary schools for twenty-five years. He held appointments as Organist and Choir Director in a number of churches before meeting David Adam, the priest-poet of Lindisfarne. Immediately attracted to David's texts as a 'whole new way of seeing my Christian faith', he has since worked closely with him on Lindisfarne to develop a style of song that is idiomatic to that holy place.

Story behind the song
Everything in the 'Sacred dance' collection can be used in worship or meditation or healing: finishing Easter Sunday worship with a resounding jig, or accompanying Communion with a slow air such as 'Cadfan's blessing' . Hopefully this collection will encourage you on your spiritual journey and help us all to come closer and be more at one with the Divine.
Lyrics
Peace to know, peace to live; peace to show and a peace to give. It's a peace to share and a peace that cares; my peace I give unto you, my peace.
