Story behind the song
nyarlathotep. well, him as a messenger of the gods. thats the title at least. i kept messing with instruments to give me something that somewhat sounded egyptian but still felt powerful and dark as hell. sitar. generally a good way to go, especially after some flang overhaul. im fairly happy with this piece, or at least as happy as i will ever be. the tempo part still sounds a bit cartoonish, and im not overall satisfied with the complete mood. but im happy with it, and have spent a month refining it.
