Story behind the song
I had admired the lyrics of Dawn Sinclair for a while from another music site. In particular a track by an artist called The Ugly Monkey Conspiracy (look him up) whose track 'Life Tastes Better Outside' is still one of the best songs I have ever heard by any artist, for which Dawn wrote the lyrics. I contacted her suggesting a collab and she agreed, and I suggested starting with something 'simple' like a Bon Jovi style ballad. Dawn wrote the lyrics in 1 hour flat and I came up with the music in about the same time but then sat on it for months as I realised recording it the way I wanted wasn't going to be that 'simple' after all. Anyway, finally I mustered up the beans to record it and after 2 evenings the result is what you have here. We hope you enjoy it.
