Produced by Lenny Kravitz’s engineer and collaborator Henry Hirsch, Sharelle has been compared to Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush, Carole King, and contemporaries Norah Jones, Diana Krall, and Rachael Yamagata. A true singer songwriter featuring a unique voice with soaring melodies in an intimate sonic landscape create the timeless sound that is Sharelle. Self-taught on piano and guitar, and writing songs and poetry since the age of five, Sharelle’s talent was noticed early on. She has earned herself top artist and songwriting honors throughout her musical career. Not to be ignored are the guys that help to create Sharelle’s sound. Half of the songwriting credit on many of the songs goes to the guitarist, Adam Fiori. His ability to flip in and out of various time-signatures is much of what drives the groove. Bringing the groove together from there, is the brilliant Stacey “Lamont” Sydnor on drums. Great artists have a way of drawing deep responses from even the most reluctant. Sharelle possesses this unique ability, leaving no emotions unturned. Her unique style sustains a timeless quality that has the ability to speak to every generation. She says what’s on her mind-always with fearless vulnerability, hiding nothing, and letting the listener know.

Lyrics
Fog Copyright 2006 Lyrics and Music by Sharelle Music by Adam Fiori It’s another day of hazy sunshine Kind of reminds me of you Thought it would’ve burned off by now But it’s been foggy all afternoon Stuck in such inconsistencies Makes it hard to sleep It’s been about 8 days now Since I’ve had any relief When will you burn off, burn you out of me? When will I see blue sky, the way it’s meant to be? Burn this fog outta me It’s hard to tell if it’s the ocean Or another layer of deep emotion Moving across these open spaces Thick inside the haze When will you burn off, burn you out of me When will I see blue sky, the way it’s meant to be, oh How can I, I’ve got to, I need to burn you outta me, oh I just need to, I’ve just got to, burn this fog outta me Oh, thick and muggy on the highway it’s so hard to see the lanes Oh, but I’m moving forward, I’m moving forward anyway, Oh… Oh, I just wanna feel, ooh, blue sky again I just wanna see the sunlight on my skin Whoa, oh--I just wanna feel, oooh Oh, I can feel the fog, oooh, it’s rollin’ in I’ve got to, burn you outta me I just wanna feel, blue sky again mmm, oooh…
