Story behind the song
The song expresses a longing for the closeness of God. It is usually the first song sung at Kabbalat Shabbat (Receiving Shabbat) services. This is the slower version of the song- some people prefer to welcome shabbat in a slow, meditative fashion. Others prefer a raucous, foot-stamping tune. I'll put both versions up.
