Story behind the song
My mom and I wrote this song for my oldest daughter's wedding. The message is - if God is in the center of any commitment, success is a given! the picture is my husband and I at our 1978 prom. We will celebrate 30 years of marriage this summer.
Lyrics
You're the one when I'm with you, makes my heart skip a beat. You're the one when I'm near you, you make my life complete. You're the one when we're together, whatever we go through, there's one thing that I'm sure of I want to spend my life with you, I want to spend my life with you. Together we will make it. Together we will grow. Where ever thou goest that's right where I'll go. Hand and hand united we'll walk down life's way. I know that God is for us so that's why I can say, You're the one. We've laughed in the sunshine we've cried in the rain. It's made our love grow stronger the spark became a flame With dreams of our future memories of our past. We'll put them all together and with God our love will last, with God our love will last.

The song feels like a classic but the one thing I loathe about this song: its not on the radio. You should let others remix like they did with the Diane Warren penned song, "How Do I Live." I like just the vocal it would be cool to remix.
