Started back in summer of 2001, Shadowstate is an electronic industrial band, based near Akron, Ohio that carries a retro-80 industrial style influence reminicent of Front Line Assembly and Skinny Puppy. Because we believe today's industrial and EBM music is all starting to sound the same, Shadowstate continues to try and achieve that early-industrial soundscape into new material for the 21st century like no one else does.

Story behind the song
The events of 911 inspired the song, the falling victim was the WTC and all the people killed in the incident. Teh song asks what next? It was answered over the two years since the attack, we went to war with Iraq and went into Afghanistan.
