Story behind the song
This is a message from the book of Job that has helped me tremendourly in my own illness and trials and it can edify others who read this wonderful book of Job and see what all he lost and then regained by his faithfullness to His God. Jesus never failed Job and satan was not allowed to kill Job only to take things from him but not his life. I pray this will help any of you who may be suffering illness, trials or whatever you may be going through God bless you

Have Faith In God
Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. Job 13:15 (KJV)
Here is one of the most astounding declarations of faith in God's goodness ever uttered. Whatever God allowed to happen to Job, whatever burden He laid upon him, even though He should "slay"him,Job believed ultimately that God would not fail him.. Paul expressed this same confidence in God's love for His faithful people (Rom.8)
Although the Lord may take away somfort, after comfort, though health may be destroyed, and though waves of trouble may come upon us, through the grace of Jesus Christ and power of His saving death, we can trust God with unwavering faith, convinced that He is right , just, and good .

37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

God wants all believers who are suffering and are oppressed on this earth to know that a day of resurrection and victory is coming, when they will be with God forever. At that time they will experience firsthand that "the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us "

Sisters and Brothers I have been blessed each time I have read the book of Job and his life and from Job I have learned that in all my sufferings and the pain that I go through from day to day I serve a God who understands and is here to help me get through it. I have learned to praise the Lord in the midst of suffering and trials and Jesus never fails me not ever.
I would suggest that each of us take time to study or restudy the book of Job. It will encourage you and edify you and bless you. Even through Job lost everything in including his health in the end God gave him back much more then he lost and God will do the same for each of us
So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses. Job 42:12 (KJV)
