It is reminiscent of both Stevie Nicks and Madonna." "I am honored to be working with Jessi Hamilton. These are great songs with very strong melodies. She is a remarkable talent." "Jessi Hamilton is living proof that there are still musical artists out there who are individually evolved rather than mass-produced." "Don't be fooled! Jessi Hamilton is not some gorgeous fashion model who wants to be a singer. Ok, the gorgeous part is true, but trust me, this girl can sing! And she's a quirky, intelligent songwriter too. You'll be glad you were introduced to Jessi Hamilton."

Story behind the song
Everyone wants for their loved-ones to be happy and in good places in their lives. When hardships arise for family and friends, we wish that there was anything in our power that we could do to make things right. Unfortunately, there are many times when we can't fix things - that person has to figure things out on his/her own. At the end of the tunnel, though, there is always light . . .
Lyrics
You told me you were leaving Needed time to get away A little time to breathe and a little time to think The world's been hard, it's brought you down Cast shadows on your wall And I wish that I could give you wings and never let you fall CHORUS: I'd give you peace, I'd give you joy I'd give you strength when hope is nowhere in sight The night is long, the journey cold But keep holding on - you'll rise above So many times I've seen that smile upon your loving face How can a soul so beautiful be free in such a place Because the world's been hard, it's brought you down Cast shadows on your wall And I wish that I could give you wings and never let you fall CHORUS (2x's)
