first off, we apologize for the name. terribly uncreative. we like jcb, but formally, we'll be going with the jon camp band. second, thanks for checking us out. we hope you like the music. an acoustic-based, organic rock and roll that may offer an alternative to more-of-the-same. if you have any thoughts or comments, write us at jon@joncampband.com.

Story behind the song
This was the first song I ever wrote for my wife ... back when I didn't even know she was gonna be my wife. We named my daughter Tarin Grey after this song.
Lyrics
graying stuck up on a shelf it’s raining today and i’m waiting for her to come and burn the grey away i will wait here until her face grows clear time and time it’s time again to fall asleep have you come to me say where you been i’ve been here waiting for you all these years and with all the spirit’s shadows i’ve known push me into corners but none have torn me away centered i sit alone waiting here for you to come home days i dream and dream some more imagine what you look like what i’m waiting for as i sit here growing old showing grey hair and with all the spirit’s shadows i’ve known push me into corners but none have torn me away centered i sit alone waiting here for you to come home stuck up on a shelf it’s raining today
