Hi, Kim Williams from Kansas City, Mo currently living near Dallas and writing up a storm. I've been on stage all throught the 80's and 90's but now an occasional "one man band" show keeps me cookin'...creatively I feel warmer than ever and spend every spare minute writing that "hit" song!

Story behind the song
just reflecting and hoping I remain a tender memory
Lyrics
It was just a thought words/music Kim M Williams Copyright 2006 I was thinking yesterday about the ones that got away Do they ever sit and think about me? Once or twice though out the years do I reappear, hiding in the corner of a lost lonely dream have I been gone too long? The past is lying helpless and we’re moving on (chorus) It was just a thought… did I ever really matter It was just a thought… thinking makes me sadder than I need to be Sometimes I wonder does anyone, anywhere remember me… Now and then I drift away to the ones that didn’t stay Dark and curious and who’s gonna know… never touch the telephone Every number’s gone…what’s that force that pulls me back to so long ago Am I the only one? A yesterday survivor, when love came undone (chorus) a gentle morning mist that dissipates like the love we all anticipate It goes and then it’s gone for good All I want to know is did somebody really loved me I always did the best I could Nothing is forever, so they told me.. (chorus) Does anyone remember me???? Does anybody remember me????

This is a fantastic piece, Kim! Great production, outstanding vocal and a stunning chorus. I love the way the chords hit the off-beat as the hook comes in - this will be in my head for ages now! I've added it to my station and stolen it for my iPod too. Great work!
