A New Anthem For Mom's Everywhere!
original country singer songwriter pop rock
Story behind the song
Brenda had the idea....It was originally a few of our favorite men. Rick tweaked it and put it to music. It stunk! Andrea made some suggestions. The three of us reworked and used a different track. We're pleased with the result. Hope you enjoy.
Lyrics
Mom’s Gone Wild (For A While Again)
Anderson/Keane/Standley
(Knocking on Door) Male voice: “Honey are you OK in there…Honey?”
Girl's night out not a moment too soon!
No Bunko for her it’s the local saloon
Leavin’ me and kids and the laundry behind
A break in the routine a chance to unwind
With rows upon rows of their favorite men
It’s moms gone wild for awhile again
Jenny Lynn likes to start with Jose
And any tall boy works for Mary Kay
Too much Jim for Gina and she’s flat on her back
And my baby’s going all the way with Jack
Nine to five ....they wish they had it that good
They’re stay at home mom’s in the neighborhood
Raisin’ kids doesn’t end at the bell
so now and again they like to raise a little hell
With rows upon rows of their favorite men
It’s moms gone wild for awhile again
Jenny Lynn likes to start with Jose
And any tall boy works for Mary Kay
Too much Jim for Gina and she’s flat on her back
And my baby’s going all the way with Jack
Solo
Do you hear me knocking baby, let me in
Where's that aspirin yeh, your heads in a spin
I know you laughed so hard, it’s worth this pain
and come next month, you’re gonna do it again
Jenny Lynn will start out with Jose
And any tall boy’ll do for Mary Kay
Too much Jim and Gina’s flat on her back
And you’ll be goin’ all the way with Jack
just cuttin’ it loose with a few good friends
as moms go wild for awhile again
