Acoustic guitar-based poppy folkish tunefulness.
Jacob and Julia consists of Jacob and Julia. This is purely coincidence as the first incarnation of Jacob and Julia was comprised of five guys named Lou. Jacob plays guitar and a little kazoo. Julia plays a lot of kazoo. Their sound is a raw, inappropriately angry take on the whole Sonny & Cher/Steve & Eydie vibe.

Story behind the song
From a CD we recorded for our wedding, which we gave away as a favor. Since then if somebody says "You couldn't give this stuff away," we have proof to the contrary.
Lyrics
It was voodoo, voodoo There was nothing in the world I could do Magic vibrations sweeping me across the floor And I said I've been in love, I've been in love And I've had I've had enough of being in love There's nothing wrong but There's nothing right with me It must have been voodoo
