Very well said, and very well sung, nice harmonies. Good ol country song, has a Waylon type of feel to it. Very nice production, your words are the best part of the song for me! I live along the beautiful Mississippi River, most of my life I have lived along it, in one town or the other. Have watched the water and the livelihood around it change as well. So much goin on with disrespect and disregard to nature, everywhere, it's sad, amazing how quickly man is killing this planet, when you look around and think about it. We just had an oil spill bout 30miles north of my place few weeks back, no one claimed they did it, ha, they are still trying to find out why and who, it's sad. Sad for the little babies who are born now and what they will have left to enjoy at our ages. Oh well nuff of me goin on. This was a very important song and very well done Gene...5 stars, and have a great week! :) ~strummergurl~
