Within’ the first year of his career Set2’s first single hit medium rotation on Contemporary Hit Radio in Canada, he released a free internet download mixtape titled Ignorant Education online which was said embodied the creativeness of an album by fans & released his second mixtape The Full Time Hustla Vol. 1 the Death of Wack Rap, hosted by award winning DJ’s Power and Rock Da House and was chosen to be the first artist to introduce HipHopCanada.com’s Artist Exclusive mixtape series. He celebrated the success of his first single “Oh Yea” with a remix that featured multi-platinum/award winning recording artists Snow, Juno Award winner Blessed and Much Music Award winner Jelleestone, then returned with a second hit single “Freaks Remix” which made it to number 7 on The New Flow 93.5’s OTA Live Mega City Top 10 Countdown. Set2 has also performed at The Importfest 2007, The New Flow 93.5’s OTA Live Mega City Top 10 Countdown launch party, Battle of the Beat Makers 5 and many other local events. Set2 developed an unclaimed love and devotion for poetry at a young age. The baby steps that were once writing poems to romance the ladies matured to a jog with simply expressing what was on his ever curious mind before emerging to leaps and bounds in the art of abstract language, metaphors and similes, fables, and other advanced literary devices that would take his testing to a talent. Currently, Set2 is in the process of working on his debut album which will include production from musical mastermind T.
