Lyrics
Time to relax, to turn the phone off, and to turn yourself off from the world, and to enjoy time out, uninterrupted. If possible, loosen up tight clothing and remove glasses and jewelry. Place your body in a comfortable position; either sitting or lying down. Close your eyes and breathe…… breathe gently, slowly, ……breathe. Gently notice, sense, feel your breath. Let the world go by, just for this moment, and feel your breath. And just breathe. Should the need arise; you’ll be able to come back to awareness in an instant. Allow the noises, your thoughts, and the motion around you just goes by, and breathe. Notice a soft, warm, relaxing wave flowing within you as you gently breathe. Allow, now…. The gentle flow of your breath to loosen up your chest even more. Notice how the warmth of the breath eases the tension in your chest. And as your breathing becomes deeper now……exhaling through your mouth. Allow the wave of warm relaxation to flow down into your belly. Soothing and loosening up the long muscles in your belly. Just breathe, deep, gently, and slowly. Allow the breath to flow down into your belly. Deep into your belly, warm, soothing, relaxing, calming. Allow the gentle flow of your breath to fill up your whole torso. Feel your back muscles relaxing even more as you take in another breath. Allow the soothing warmth of your breath ease off the tension in your upper back. Just breathe, gently, softly. Let it flow;….. bring your breath deep into your body, gently, slowly, relaxing. Let your breath flow gently into your arms, all the way into your hands, soothing and relaxing. Flow the warmth of your breath into your arms and let them rest. And just breathe. Allow the breath to flow down into your belly. Let it flow into your lower back gently relaxing, soothing all the muscles, joints and bones. Just breathe, gently, softly. Flow the warmth of your breath into your legs and let them rest. Let your breath flow gently into your legs, all the way into your feet, into every toe, soothing and relaxing. Just breathe, gently, softly. Let your breath flow gently into your neck and shoulders. Flow the warmth of your breath into your neck and shoulders and let them rest. Allow your scalp to relax. Let your breath soothe your forehead, your eyes, and your cheekbones. Take a gentle breath and allow your jaw to let go of tightness and tension. Let it relax and feel the warm moisture in your mouth softly soothing your whole face. Allow your self to gently and deeply drift into a deeper relaxed state, and breathe, just breathe. If you are experiencing tightness or discomfort, take your breath now into that part of your body that feels tight or tense. Imagine, pretend that you can breathe through and into that part of your body. And breathe… just breathe. Take your mind’s eye into that area and look, notice how it feels. What are the size, shape, texture, color, and temperature of that tense area. And breathe… just breathe right through and into that area. Allow the warmth of your breath to soothe and relieve that area. Gently, softly, ease off the tension. Keep your mind’s focus on that area as you breathe… just breathe. Notice the changes on size, shape, texture, color, weight, and temperature of that tense area. And just continue to allow the warmth of your breath to soothe and relieve that area. Gently, softly calming and easing off tension, discomfort. And breathe… just breathe right through and into that area. Perhaps you may think of a color you’d want to breathe into that area now. A colored breath that will continue to soothe, relieve and calm that area. A gentle colored breath that shifts according to need, as that area changes, size, shape, texture, color, weight, and temperature. A gentle, soothing, colored breath that now expands slowly all through your body. Relaxing your,
