Evan Paul is a very unique artist. His music is totally original, multi-genre, mostly acoustic, new age, easy listening, uplifting and spiritual.
I'm a Canadian songwriter musician and have recently released my first CD, "Spirits in the Sky". It's an instrumental, classical guitar album with sweeteners such as flute and strings. After decades of performing in various bands and as solo, I have finally settled on recording and writing, and only playing live ocasionally. Result, is a sweet, easy listening and spiritually uplifting work that defies any genre placement. It's pure acoustic and very melodic. Also, one will notice vocal songs and collaborations with various world artists. Presently, my latest CD "Eklektika" is active. It's one of the most original multi-genre instrumental album ever created. Unlike my previous, "Spirits in the Sky" collection, this one has percussion, a little more punch, but still retains that Evan Paul style of classical guitar playing. Enjoy!!!

Story behind the song
This is a special dedication to Swannie of www.cygnusradio.com a lady who has been the greatest supporter of Indie music since the days of mp3.com. It's not easy running an internet radio station and carrying on with a daytime job. She has swam upstream, downstream, but most of the time in calm waters.

That Single swan, neat picture. I run in the country where the Swans and ducks swim, and you somehow came as close as a guitar is ever gonig to get to capture that feeling and that imagery of one SIngle swan Swimming.

Another one of my favorites. I added this one on my station. Such wonderful crisp guitar playing. Evan you are a STAR! I love the percussion instruments you added that made the song even more perfect. I like how you changed the tempo and surprised me. Sometimes you listen to a song and the beat is the same all the way thru. That is not the case with your music. You are always full of surprises in adding new sounds sweetie. Love the added flute and the way you faded the music out at the end. Keep up the good work.

This is an delightful easy listening tune that is relaxing and refreshing. It's what I call lights out music cause I like to listen to it with the lights off. Just feel the soothing sounds. The nice classical guitar work and the gentle flute. It's really a great arrangement. A 5 star production all the way.
