Aurora-project is a 5-piece band from North England, which plays original rock and metal music, with influences ranging from folk and classical, to metal and heavy rock. Formed in 2006, the band is fronted by singer Lisa, and features Jim on guitar, Rob on mandolin and viola, Gaz on bass and Paul on drums. All five members are experienced musicians, having been involved in a wide variety of musical projects, events and bands, and each member brings in their own influences to make Aurora-Project’s music somewhat unique, and exciting to listen to. This band is not afraid to experiment with different rhythms, key, tonality and scale. Driven by heavy guitar and drums and bass, the listener can expect all the excitement of heavy rock and metal, decorated by the classical/folk/gypsy-influenced mandolin and viola parts, with a melodic vocal melody. Having written enough songs to play a fun and exciting set, Aurora-Project is now gearing up to booking shows across the UK, and hopes to have a professionally recorded demo EP available in the near future.

Lyrics
You're too late, long gone, Always wanting me to carry on From where we just left it; Out to dry. Its been too long, be strong, Leave it in the void where you found it Its haunting me. Its habitual, just fanciful Never getting back what we had before. Take this dream, don't set it free Close it down, lock it up again This needs to end It feels wrong, its undone You're never going to fix this rift and Bridge this great divide, it starts to fray. You didn't learn, your lesson well, Listen to the melody of this torment You put me through. Chorus Chorus
