Story behind the song

There's a place between exhaustion and creative fire, a delicate balance found so often in the middle of the night.  It's the point where you *should* go to sleep, but you can't quite bear to because there's something you have to finish first... it's the moment when an idea has suddenly seized you, and it's better to be tired later than to lose it.

It's the point where I wrote this song, and the point where I'm uploading it, too.
