xen. is the culmination of all of the influences visual and audio artists have had on my life. There is no set "goal" to the style or progression of the music, only an aspiration to express what is inside. I create visual pieces of art as a photographer, graphic artist, and drawing artist which are standalone pieces as well as complements to the musical pieces I create. I strive to bring forth all thoughts, emotions, and philosophies I hold within to my art in an attempt to bring peace to my mind, and perhaps some understanding to my own life.

Story behind the song
I've obviously been working in a lot more orchestral-themed music lately, and one rather quiet night I began playing my keyboard and the main riff of this song came out. I continued layering and layering as I let my mind float further back into a sort of trance. I thought of all the trials I have overcome these past years, and how life, in a way, has more clarity, as if I had awoken from a long, restless sleep.
