Singer, Songwriter, Guitarist, Fife, Scotland. Writer ballads and pop songs with a contemporary country/ folk twist. Love doing collabs!!
I am a solo artist/guitarist based in Fife in Scotland. I've written a few songs over the years and thoroughly enjoy doing collabs with friends and various very talented writers and musicians I've met here at SC. I have always been a music lover, and always will be. I'd love to be discovered, like the millions of other hopefuls on the various music sites but first and foremost, I love what I do, just wish I could do it full time!!!

Story behind the song
I have been working on this tune and arrangement for ages cause I wanted to do something special for Dawny, something quite different from our other songs, something upbeat and kinda dancy, I think I got it, mum was dancing around the sitting room to it yesterday, so I've done something right LOL Thankx ma Dawny for letting me do this one, and thanks too for your patience xx
Lyrics
Walking on the Track By Dawn Sinclair, Dawn Diamond, Jan 2008 V1 I haven't written anything for longer than a year I can't remember roads I walked to get from there to here I've burned so many bridges now, there is no turning back I missed the train to Sanity So I'm walking on the track Chorus1 How can I choose my future When the past is haunting me Tomorrow seems too far away When you chase Eternity When do I find the strength to reach For one bright guiding star They say you have to look inside But even that's too far V2 There's a groove along my finger where I've held the pen too long I would have written reams by now but words just come out wrong I've burned so many candles (from both ends every time) That I'm standing in a waxen pool So I'm just counting time V3 You know what I was searching for;you said it wasn't real I closed my ears and walked away; I knew you couldn't feel The way I felt entrapped by all that you could offer me The truth was much too painful and my eyes too blind to see Chorus2 In you I had my future If I'd waited patiently You would have been my guiding star Towards Eternity I have to find the strength to reach Beyond the battle scar And beg for your forgiveness If you haven't gone too far You would have been my guiding star If you hadn’t gone too far…..

This is more along the electronic genre, Dawn...you did a GREAT job on this one.. Ms Sinclair gave you some strongly written lyrics, and you did an amazing job with them! :D Thumbs up to BOTH of you! :)

Oh, this one is so GOOD!! So different from anything you've ever done (like my "Late For The Bus" was) and so innovative. You've shown us yet another side to your many talents, and Dawn Sinclair's lyric..........well I just run out of good things to say about those. Loadsa love to both of you, Ron

Excellent shot by two Princesses!Cool song that fits lyrics like a glove.Beautiful performance and interesting arrangment.Raise my hat to your courage in investigating new directions.Nice small touches here and there, certainly add to the versatality and makes listeners' experience more enjoyable. Some of these little "peep-peep"-"toot-toots" are along the lines we have incorporated in Black Lace recently. So,as you see, some thoughts might entered a different brains at the same time....LOL! Flanger or Chorus on the guitar/and at times on voice is a nice addition, but you must be vry careful with it's deepness and cycling in general,as it can induce a monothony in a long run. But other than that, that's the way to go!! We are all the prisoners'of the Past as Dawnsy imply in her great,as per usual, lyrics. Hugglies-Bugglies!!
