J. Scott Wright has been working in Vocal Music for over 30 years, specializing in Private Voice Instruction and Vocal Performance/Songwriting. With a heavy influence in European Pop/Dance, J. Scott has developed a sense of rhythm that is unique and infectious. An MCSF International Vocalist of the Year, Recipient of (2) Governatorial Commendations, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp Scholarship Recipient; and more; J. Scott has always strived to make the most of his talents. 2008 sees the release of his first CD in 6 years. "Forward Looking Back," represents some of his more distinctive works over the past decade, with a few new compositions sprinkled in. This year will also mark the introduction of "The Voice Shoppe" podcast, and yet another CD due out this Fall.

Story behind the song
This song was written as a result of having seen the extreme suffering of my beloved wife Beverly. She has survived three cancers, having proven herself to be an impressive fighter. Goodnight, is a song that says farewell to the pain, and hello to the strength that such trials can bring to a marriage. I am in great awe of my wife. If love can be a song, then let this one be ours.
