One of the things I love about purely rhythmic tracks is that they are so often forgettable. They can be awesome and you can listen to them over and over and even get to a point at which you can remember many of the intricacies of the rhythmic composition with a level of accuracy, but they will inevitably slip your mind after a shorter period than any sort of track centered on melody will.
