You Just Left, Again

its about leaving. we all leave at one point or other. i have a cold, should re-record in the future. it's one of my first attempts at adding harmonica...sounds a bit lazy...can only get better from here.

I can't say I'm really a band or that I'm at all good at this, but... Basically, I just write and sing my own stuff. i'd like to jam with other people, but i really dont know anyone in the area. maybe one day i'll throw a band together.

Lyrics
Its closing time she says as she packs her things, heads for the coast. I’ll see you again in so many days, take care of yourself as i drift away Moments between life and death feel serene like we’ve never missed a day together in our lives monuments between you and i chorus All the things that you said, I’ll see you again We sat and bled together so thoughtlessly I remember you on the floor holding your arms and your wrist I found you out and let you die for a moment in that place All the days you tried to stay, all the times we tried to hide In the corners we built a hideaway, hoping the sun would never come (down) I guess we’ll take these moments now, to gather up ourselves somehow And be the same on days like these, where time just beats on again chorus All the things that you said, I’ll see you again We sat and bled together so happily thoughtlessly I remember you on the floor holding your arms and your wrist I found you out and let you die (for a moment) in that place Soft I caught you on the floor making faces at the rain I tried to shrug it off but you fell to pieces without me there again The only things you said was don’t you worry, I’ll see you again
