Singer, Songwriter, Guitarist, Fife, Scotland. Writer ballads and pop songs with a contemporary country/ folk twist. Love doing collabs!!
I am a solo artist/guitarist based in Fife in Scotland. I've written a few songs over the years and thoroughly enjoy doing collabs with friends and various very talented writers and musicians I've met here at SC. I have always been a music lover, and always will be. I'd love to be discovered, like the millions of other hopefuls on the various music sites but first and foremost, I love what I do, just wish I could do it full time!!!

Story behind the song
Ron asked me to write some words. I was totally inspired by Sal Josephs 'Married Alive' (one of my favourite songs of all time). I sent my words to Ron who then created this fantastic tune and this beautiful arrangement and added his velvet vocals. This is my second song with Ron and I am so pleased with it, just want to do more and more and more with him cause I think he's great!! Enjoy the song!!
Lyrics
More Than Words Can Say (Lyrics: Dawn Diamond/Music: Ron Gletherow) Verse We drift along from day to day Together, come what may ust like we planned to But we got lost along the way We've forgotten how to say I love you I love……..you Verse 2 So many times we had the chance For reminiscing and romance And let it pass us by Though we both wanted that last dance We just shared a passing glance Like strangers, in the night Chorus But I love you More than words can say Though I don't say it every day And I……want you More than yesterday I Need you to know, how much I care I love you, ,so please say you'll stay Verse 3 If we could do it all again There is nothing I would change - About you And every morning when I wake I'll turn to you and say I love you - I love you Bridge Sometimes in life We let things slide So make time to say What's on your mind Chorus 2 I love you More than words can say Even more than yesterday And our last dance In each other’s arms I’ll turn to you and say With all my heart I love you, tomorrow and today

mmmmmmm.... this one is just yummy, beautiful words, voices and arrangement, and when those harmonies kick in, ooohhh it just keeps getting better. Have I ever mentioned how sometimes your voice reminds me of Stevie Nicks, who is one of my all time faves...just a bit here and there, if nothing else you have that same kind of uniqueness she has, but it is all your own. Beautiful kudos to both of you. Amy

Hi Dawn and Ron, A real beauty here. Two of my favorite SC artists on one song. Hard to come up with anything but a CRACKER! LOL! Words have a very universal appeal. Rons production is always stellar and I always enjoy his piano work. Great work folks with top notch vocals!
