Story behind the song
In the original French film, "Nakita", her handler, "uncle Bob", has a private conversation with her boy friend; who, is madly in love with her, but has no idea of her real occupation. The boyfriend comments that he can't explain what such an amazing woman would see in him; other, than a vague "subterranean charm".
