Praise and worship of Jesus Christ in an Eclectic blend of acoustic and electric guitars. The words are from The Word and my Christian testimony of the struggle
Why do we do what we do, or believe what we believe? Some judge the materialistic as all there is. But, where does the beautiful painting of artistic expression in canvas, word, music and thought come from? From where do we derive altruistic love and feeling for one another? The materialistic explanations fall short of elucidation, let alone understanding of the incorporeal and/or supernatural aspects of our lives. So much so that the inadequate reasoning of the materialists become illogical and incomprehensible. So, why the opposing worldviews? If you believe the material world is the only answer, I would ask that you open your mind to the possibility of your own self imposed limitations. Does the well rounded mind limit itself? Where then does growth come from? In my personal life, I have found music can be a healing balm, a positive motivator and a conduit to profound worship. The music my Lord has given me to play and minister with, are in conjunction with my testimony, my life’s story, and the gifts He has given me. Along with studies for a Masters Degree in Christian Apologetics and Polemics, I am also completing studies for a Masters degree in Theology as well. Again, I feel that you never quit learning, nor are we supposed to. You become stagnant if you remain static! Thanks and God Bless Ron

Story behind the song
This song has been in the works for a while (along with five or six other apologetics). I just haven't had the time due to ministries and school work... This song came from the lines: "Down slid the monkey from a limbless tree" And "Up slid the Serpent from beneath the tree" And built from there ;-D All Guitars: Ron Gragg Bass: Ron Gragg Drums and Percussion: Ron Gragg Vocals: Ron Gragg
Lyrics
Bang-Bang Down slid the monkey from a limbless tree Altering the truth, Relatively He’s a distortion of the Dragon so he let’s the lies fly free (Indeed) Old Chucky didn’t like the way the Word read Or the truth in the facts of what the Son said As a prophet of the Dragon so he looked for lies in the ground (and all around) (Chorus) Bang – Bang……… Or so it goes Bang – Bang……… The story grows Bang – Bang…..... If you tell it enough to the weak (So don’t be weak) Up slid the Serpent from beneath the tree He wants to make a monkey out of you and me and he’s found enough lemmings to present it convincingly So he tries to infest the minds of the young like a parasite he strikes them deaf and dumb He pulls the strings to make the weak in mind succumb (and that’s enough) (Chorus) Bang – Bang ……… Did He really say Bang – Bang ……… With His “Word” that way Bang – Bang ……… In six consecutive days (Like it says) (Chorus) Bang – Bang……… Or so it goes Bang – Bang……… The story grows Bang – Bang…….... If you tell it enough to the weak (So don’t be weak) If you happen to hear a hiss from a forked tongue My best advice to you is to stand on the Word Because not much has changed sense this old world fell So up stood the WORD on a rough hewn tree With arms outstretched...for you and me To prove the truth written from the very start (In His Heart) (Chorus) Bang – Bang ……… The hammer fell Bang – Bang ……… Reserving the Liar for Hell Bang – Bang ……… And only the fool can deny Bang – Bang ……… Did He really say Bang – Bang ……… With His Word that way “Big”– Bang ……… In six consecutive days (Like He said) Words and Music © 2007: Ronald E. Ron, strong poetry here! Very individual style singing. Beginning reminded me of "Canned Heat", remember them? Very good guitars, too! BtW, did I ever tell you that the first time I ever touched American soil it was in Pittsburgh, PA, and I don´t know why but it kind of felt like coming home, even though I was born and raised and lived all my life in Germany! Cheers from Frankfurt

Plenty of raw emotion comes through in "Bang Bang". The chorus is very catchy and overall I really like this song. Good job!

Ron, I like this song!! The only thing missing is Ginger Baker and Eric Clapton assisting you in the blend. Takes me back to my youth hearing this unique style. My head kept bobbin'.. I can dig it!!! Also, thanks for stopping by to listen to my song "I'm American" I truly appreciate your ears. This song was one of my first attempts on my Cakewalk program.. I didn't have a clue what I was doing but I had fun as you can tell. I also did an acoustic version which was pretty cool.. I actually don't own an electric guitar so I never add it.. But sure nice to hear from you.. Good Luck!! BOB

Ron- Love the lyrics in this one! I am currently debating so-called Christian evolutionists online, so this was a great encouragement. Love the bluesy guitar, gritty vocal and penetrating thesis. Oh! You MUST check out Ben Stein's expose on the evolution terrorists here: http://www.expelledthemovie.com/home.php BTW, I agree with you on my "Abba, Father" - rhythm mistakes ruin the track. Thanks for stopping by, and keep proclaiming the Word! Johnny
