Artist Information Biography A southern upbringing and Elvis, Merle and Conway and Cash always on the radio was how Country music became my musical core. I played drums and sang all through high school but chose the military career instead of music. I served 11 years as an Army Officer, won the Bronze Star Medal for actions in the Gulf War, and worked in the corporate world, before I started writing songs about a year ago. Unexpectedly, lyrics and melodies were just there and I just had to get them out. It wasn't until I received what I am convinced was a sign from above that I realized I had to follow this new path to wherever it may lead. Living in New York is a great experience but it can be scary at times. I was confronted by four guys late one night on the subway. All of a sudden, someone who I am convinced was my guardian angel intervened and before I could even even thank him; he was gone. What finally showed me that music was my path, was seeing my guardian angel on the subway again recently. He was sleeping on one of the benches in the same subway car that I was in. and didn't even say a word. I had to see was that cradled in his arms, like he was protecting his most prized possession, was a beat up, worn out and well used old electric guitar! At that moment I knew. The next day, I received a songwriting contract offer. So here I am. Thanks so much for stopping by

Times Heals All Wounds Words and Music by: Weston James (BMI) Copyright: 2007 Weston James Music. All Rights Reserved. Verse I Seasons come, seasons go; the tide comes in, and out it rolls That's just the way with things; you know sometimes, somethings never change Here am I, there are you, two lost souls, without a clue Should we give up and just walk away? Or should we fight for love to stay? Chorus And time heals all wounds, that's what they say Don't know if all that's true, guess I'll find out someday But at least I'm sure of one thing that it's worth the pain So this price I pay Verse II One more day, ten more years, what will it take to calm your fears? Or is it all just some ruthless game? Always angry, someone else to blame. There you are, here am I, the pain's so great, I wanna die. These wounds so deep, can they be healed? Our wounds so deep, so very real. REPEAT CHORUS REFRAIN And time heals all wounds that's just what they say Don't know if all that's true but I'm hoping and and I pray That my love wasn't wasted and was worth this pain This sacrifice and pain EXTENDED ENDING Yes, time heals all wounds Yes, time heals all wounds Yeah, I don't know if all that's true but tell me baby what am I gonna do? Yeah, I don't know if all that's true but that's just the price I gotta pay for For......Loving..........You.
