He promised a better life/ but “Dad” still slugs us and causes ruckus at night/ I can’t remember my last full nights rest/ I confess/ my mind’s a mess/ perplexed at the fact that I’m hexed/ what’ll happen next?/ God help before I’m less sacred/ I’m close to snapping necks and back breakin’/ I’m closer to Satan than I’ve ever been/ he tells me time and time again/ that as a nice guy I'll never win/ but whatever sin I take part in/ I apologize/ for being ill-hearted/ forgive me at my demise/ the cries from lost souls were louder than those/ angelic so it’s relic in the flows that I compose/ psychedelic roads I chose to venture/ but now I’m lost/ trying to escape this misadventure at all cost.
