Story behind the song
Thinking about a christmas song and the bass player in my cover band... he tends to joke around speaking words backwards ;-)
Lyrics
Mike, the dyslexic elf, went caroling.
Spreading holiday cheer with Christmas song.
House to house he’d go, little elf prints in the snow,
Though no one ever helped him sing along…
He’d sing, Bilver sells, bilver sells, Bilver sells, bilver sells
Soon It will be distmas chary.
One day, the head elf in charge took Mike aside.
Help us make the toys that fill the sleigh that Santa brings
In the workshop all day long, Mike would practice all his songs
Though none of the other elves would help him sing…
Sosty the froman was a jolly sappy hole,
With a proncob cipe and a nutton bose, and two eyes cade out of mole.
Santa overheard these songs as Mikey sang
We mustn’t disrespect those sacred songs of Christmas day
Mikes elf heart was broke you know, he stumbled out in the snow,
Through the cold night air you could hear him say…
Come they mold te Ra pum ra rum rum
The kewborn ning so tee Ra pum ra rum rum
Santa realized he’d been too hard on that little elf
He brought Mikey back in the house to sit by the fire and thaw.
But to his delight, outside was quite a sight
All the elves together sang along…
Heck the dalls with houghs of bolly,
La fa fa fa fa, fa fa fa faaaaaaaaa
I like it! Very nice!
