Things may at times be bad - we may be struggling, afraid and sad, even thinking we've lost our salvation, which is secure in Christ upon our faith in Jesus - but still in these times we can trust in God, who is more than able to help us.

Story behind the song
"In Thee, O Lord" started off as a song titled "The Lord is my God, so whom shall I fear?" (which I later renamed to "The answer is no-one" and yet later renamed to "No one at all"). The verses of "In Thee, O Lord" share about the same melody and words as the original song did, but the chorus is completely new, except for some concepts that exist in the choruses of both songs.
I got some words for the song, including the title, from the 71st Psalm, in the King James version Bible. Oh, and I am not a "King James only" person, and do indeed read other versions of the Bible. Doing so helps me to understand God's Word (the Bible) more fully.
Lyrics
Verse1:
Sometimes we struggle,
Sometimes we fear,
Sometimes the answer
To our problems isn’t clear,
Sometimes our hearts are heavy,
Sometimes we’re feeling sad,
And everything
Just seems to go bad
But in these times of desperation,
We can depend upon the Lord
He is with us to the very end
So I declare…
Chorus:
In Thee, O Lord, do I put my trust
Deliver me from all the evil in this world
In Thee, O Lord, do I put my trust
I will hope continually
And praise you more and more
Verse2:
Sometimes we are lonely
And so afraid
Wondering if somehow
We’re not really saved
Sometimes we are nervous
Sometimes we’re confused
Thinking that in the end
We’ll hear bad news
But I will hope in Jesus Christ
He has paid for me and you
All we must do is put our trust in Him,
And what He has done…
(Chorus, Instrumental, Chorus)
And praise you more and more and more…
