Vocals: Gry. A rocky tune with a little country-rock flavour over it.

I've been writing and playing music for 30 years now and as the technology became better and cheaper I have practiced the difficult task to produce as well. Story behind the song
Actually this song came into my mind on the way home from work on my bike. I hurried home, took my guitar and wrote the chords down. The lyrics for the first vers and the chorus was actually made on the bike. Gry takes care of the leadvocal, Anne the backing, Ole plays the drums and I fill in the gaps (bas, guitar, keys) And just for the record... this is not a true story for me :-)
Lyrics
Whatever I said (1993) I kept on sleeping – through day and night I felt no hunger at all – I’ve surely lost my pride Like restless souls on empty streets – wandering around I kept on searching for some comfort – like some other clown How can it be that you already know, that he has captured my heart and trapped my soul How could you know that he is on my mind, that I can’t hardly breath when he’s around Whatever I said to you – I meant every word of it I never thought I could – I could treat you like this It sort of happened this way – I never really wanted it to Please believe me it was never my intension to cheat on your I feel so sad now – yet still so strong This loving game between you and I, we played but never won Too many times late up at night you said, - waiting for me I kept on turning my life upside down, oh baby you could see How can it be that….. Whatever I said… @Jonsson

Excellent song my friend, it's very well written and you did an amazing job on the performance and production. The vocals and guitar playing in this song are extremely well done; the lead break fits the song perfectly.
