This recording is an older project recorded on analog tape and recently digitally remastered. The banjo is an honest to goodness Gibson Mastertone arch top made sometime in the early 1950's. It has been through the wars of being played everyday for over 50 years. Check out my website by copying and pasting this address into your browser. http://rudybarrett.tripod.com. Story behind the song
A song about running away from home, never going back, and wondering about the people and the old home place left behind. I wrote this song after listening to a man talk about being raised in a foster home and running away.
