Story behind the song
the broken notes played at the beginning i played for hours on end in playback trying to put something to it. its so beautiful and delicate, weak and yet has the promise of being the first steps in something stronger and more dramatic. the second (bells) felt a bit overused, but it also had my hand orchestrating for a bit. the final, and most heavily layered isnt anything i planned. i just let some notes stay while others had to move a bit. the backing to it all is just some ambience. theres four separate layers, 2 from the start and 2 more come in later in the song. you never notice them though. or maybe you do, and i dont. sorry it took so long. ive been enjoying more music lately, that and christmas is not fun in retail... especially when you're the grunt end of it.
