Lyrics
Burnt down all my bridges over whiskey & women Lord knows I'm not cold I never meant to do it Instead I wasted all my good looks on whiskey & women Seems I'm never quite alone but I ain't the best I've been Well all you speak of is confessions and your looks can only et you so far, We're burning candles for the dead now so step up to the bar It goes without saying you never know who you're good friends are Taken up my last chance so many times before, hell I don't know where I've been forgot what I was looking for and heavy are regrets these days and I don't know where I'm going Seems the troubles are behind me and the world outside my door. Well all you speak of is confessions and your looks can only get you so far, we're burning candles for the dead now, so step up to the bar It goes without saying, you never know just who your good friends are.
