Lyrics
What have you left behind When you walk through the desert You walk with the ancients When you walk through the graveyard You walk with the angels When you speak to the sky You talk with the great father And When you stand up on high And you cry out to your maker Chorus And when you listen the eagle calls When the sand slips through time In this land of merit and measure Who will remember And what have you left behind , left behind When you find that stone grey marker You’ll know it was forsaken Left there by some lost surveyor When his rod and chain were taken A piece of land ,a square of earth Where the road ends and it is broken That was all he thought he was worth He couldn’t see beyond the horizon Chorus

Hi Dave, Love this one! Great guitar work, love the solos! Great production and vocals also. Nice musical bridge in the middle, love the electric guitar coming out of it! Overall, great rating my friend! Nice work!!

Hi Dave, Love the new one. Great Lyrics and guitar work. You really are sounding like Roger McGuinn (Byrds) on the one. great changeup at 1:40 unexpected but it worked great.

What a great message, David! :) The lyrics are full of wisdom and a life that has been lived... :) The track is wonderful; just beautiful, my friend. :) Production is great! You are right, tho...vocals need to come out some more, but not much more....you're pretty close. :) Buzzing in a mic can also come from a bad cord, try changing cords to one you know isn't giving you any trouble..that's the only other suggestion I know to make. I honestly didn't hear anything out of place, buzzing, crackling or anything else, and I listened hard for ANYTHING resembling what you're talking about.
