Story behind the song
This piece is the opening track on my forthcoming album "Ten Miles Out Of Midnight". "The Things In The Attic" suggests those things that are hidden away, buried in the back of our minds, collecting dust yet always there to haunt us in times of doubt, fear and worry. Memories of times gone by perhaps, chances not taken and ghosts looking over our shoulders ready to haunt us forever. This un-nerving yet beautiful piece is the instrumental manifestaton of such thoughts.
