Half folk, half something else. Picky acoustic reflective number about new chapters. Lots of guitars at the end. Roger Whitaker meets The Pixies.

Story behind the song
It's a song about a perfect afternoon spent in spite of (or because of?) sobriety.
Lyrics
A friend came round a rainy night and didn’t call before. Parked his car and climbed the stairs to knock upon my door. I called his name and called him in and asked what he came for. After talking ‘bout the old time, he went - I was left with wanting more. I won’t change your mind, it’s not what I’m out to do. Once turned loose on self abuse was once turned back to you. Someone I could turn to was someone I once knew. Who am I to question why, if I am not true. Countless days before this in a daze with hazy edges nothing clear became a blur to slur the words of cloudless thought. Now it seems beyond those hopes and dreams that kept today at bay, that was never really real...so absolutely much. Sunshine in the morning of a cloudy afternoon. Stale bread on the window brings them flocking to my room. Over all the football field, underneath the moon, your first mistake was flying, the second was your tune. Countless days before this in a daze with hazy edges nothing clear became a blur to slur the words of cloudless thought. Now it seems beyond those hopes and dreams that kept today at bay, that was never really real...so absolutely much.
