Single keyboardist.
Retired, and enjoying it with my music! My philosophy regarding my music is K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple, Stupid!): simple message, simple lyrics, simple melody so that anyone can sing along. If you're looking for a professional recording, you're in the wrong place. If you're capable of listening to a melody for consideration, then you're in the right place. I am always hoping that someone will see through my unprofessional singing and see the quality of the song and lyrics and decide to perform and/or record any of my songs. Of course, publishers are also welcome to publish my music. All of my songs are registered through SOCAN; so, if you are profiting from my music, please let your music affiliate (e.g. ASCAP) know. Thanks.

Lyrics
THE CHRISTMAS STORY by Dale Matthies © 2007 1. To lit-tle Beth-le-hem town Mar-y and Jo-seph did come. By law they had to be there So Cae-sar’s count could be done. But, when they looked for a place To rest and sleep for the night Only a sta-ble was found Under the stars shin-ing bright. But in this poor hum-ble place God’s gift to us was there born In-to a world full of hate Mock-er-y and Sa-tan’s scorn. 2. In the fields out-side the town Shep-herds tend-ed o’er their sheep. When sud-den-ly an-gels sang Wak-ing them from their near sleep. “Al-le-lu-ia, He is born. God’s gift to the world is here. Come to the sta-ble to see And wor-ship the Sav-iour dear.” So they went there to see Him, God’s Son, the prom-ise come true. The One who’d die for our sin. The One born for me and you. 3. Gold, myrhh, and frankinscence gifts From eastern magi did come For the Child in Bethlehem Praising God for what He’d done. But Herod heard of the star, The prophecy what it meant. Frightened for his own future, Herod tried intervening. But God’s plan was not undone. Salvation was His to give. Jesus’ birth and death on Earth Means we in Heaven will live!
