Experimental fractal music
Creating audio is as simple as drawing a line through a fractal image. Anyone can do it! This line determines the notes as well as the duration of each note, depending upon the length of each segment of color that it intersects. These audio files have influences from diverse sources in the avant-garde world. Scales used may sound unusual to some listeners and the range of bent notes can contribute to a mysterious sound. I tend to call these works 'sound', rather than 'music'. They're not popular and not things that one would listen to more than once, unfortunately.

Story behind the song
I wanted to write a piece that was both patriotic as well as critical of the political scene in this early 21st Century in America. Quite clearly, our history shows that the wisest leaders have upheld and promoted civil liberties and the Constitution. Knowing this, why do so many people refuse these rights and prohibit this spirit of tolerance in current and future rights struggles (including the Equal Rights Amendment, aka women's rights, dead in its tracks some 30 years later, or GLBT rights)? In contrast to that question, however, the music is very peaceful and positive, floating in the background of our (hopefully free) minds.
