The leviathon from Job 41: God usually shows creation, but rarely does He tell. And He gave Job a good talk about some fantastic creatures of His. At more one time God came down to our level. Isn't this boasting like an inventor, or engineer?

Many genres, Contemporary Christian, Lyrics, instrumentals
I write my own songs ;) I have a very diverse taste in music, from Pop to Classical, including Rock, Folk, Jazz, Country, World Music (Celtic, Romanian), Old Timey Stringband/Bluegrass, and Latin. All these styles are in my Christian Contemporary catagory. I usually write the music first, and then put words to the music. Though I don't sing good enough yet, I though I would put my instrumentals out along with my music. Generally, I think my music/lyrics are getting better, being more skilled now than when I started.

Story behind the song
Job 41 (NCV) inspired me to write about this non-mythical creature. It is really a dynosaur-dragon, not a crocodile as some commentaries have it. This song just about wrote itself when I thought about God is bragging on His creation to Job as only God can do. I put this in the same form as a song such as Jan and Dean song or a Beach Boys song. Designers like to extoll the virtues of their creations. It does have a croco-rock style, though.
Lyrics
Leviathan, Mighty King of Beasts Spot leviathan? No, it can't be caught. Touch leviathan? Oh, you better not! You won't forget The intense combat Your spears bounce off And you'll make it laugh You will never fight and come out on top. Leviathan, mighty king of beasts There's tremendous strength In its limbs and frame And it breathes out smoke And its breath is flame Its eyes are red And its teeth are fierce Its hides so strong That you cannot pierce There was never, ever a beast as proud - Leviathan, mighty king of beasts Its got double scales All along its back And it's belly's scales Are as sharp as glass Its neck's so strong And its heart's a rock No earthly thing is gonna make it stop. In the whole wide world, nothing is more feared. Leviathan, mighty king of beasts David Davis copyright 2007/2011/2017 http://www.postadavisongs.50webs.com//Leviathan.html
