Lyrics
My Luck If the 9th caller wins a trip to Cancun My luck, I know I’ll be one call too soon With a house full of aces and a pair of queens My luck, I’ll still lose by some other means CHORUS: Because that’s my luck What can I say, I don’t give a hoot I can’t win no how I always seem tofind a way to lose somehow Because that’s just my luck. Million dollar lotto winner there in my hand My luck, the wind would shred it up into sand “Hey buy this beachfront, it’s really a steal” My luck, it’s swampland, another raw deal. Because that’s my luck What can I say, I don’t give a hoot I can’t win no how I always seem to find a way to lose somehow Because that’s just my luck. Horse in the stretch up by an eighth of a mile My luck, I know I’d better not even smile Low mileage sports car for a small chunk of cash My luck, I’d buy it, turn the corner and crash. Because that’s my luck What can I say, I don’t give a hoot I can’t win no how I always seem to find a way to lose somehow Because that’s my luck. Spinning the wheels and rolling them bones My luck, I’ll lose everything that I own If the odds were stacked ten-to-one my way My luck, I know I’d better not even play. Because that’s my luck What can I say, I don’t give a hoot I can’t win no how I always seem to find a way to lose somehow Because that’s just my luck. ©2007 Marc Bear Grindle, BMI, All rights reserved
