Hi, I've been writing songs since I was twelve years old, and recording them since 1985. Roger Cook (of the Cook-Greenaway-Cook songwriting partnership and Blue Mink, etc) once wrote that I have the ability to write a hit single and that he was waiting for one from me. He also said I need to 'lighten up a bit', unquote. F*ck that!

Story behind the song
There's a veiled triple meaning to this song, and if anyone gets all three, I'll email them every song I've got for free. Leave a message on my board and we'll see who wins the booby prize (which is the only prize: all my songs). This is the only song I've written on my own that features a real drummer, and it also features Andy Gregory on lead vocal and lead guitar.
Lyrics
Walkin’ in the country, out on my own I needed some time to be alone I sat on the hillside and gazed at the scene And later on, I realised where it was I’d been Heaven I searched my pockets and found a smoke Fresh air in the country, a bit of a joke Searching for something to ease the pain My thinking disturbed by the falling, falling acid rain Heaven Heaven Later in the evening, staring at the sky I remember being happy, but I don’t recall why I think it was someplace I might have been I’m sure I remember once upon a time I had a dream Heaven Heaven (c) Nick Snaden 1991
