Crowded Head is a high impact alternative rock band. Our sound tends to take on many various shapes and forms. Major label always try to "put us in the box" and make another fabricate act. But from our viewpoint, it's about the music. Frankly, we don't need the money, we've already made enough the good old fashioned way, we worked our *@#&-butts off!! As a result of those efforts, we're able to spend a little free time making music for the few select individuals out there that actually care about what they are listening to, and care about what kind of message the song brings, after all, we do listen to it, so it's going to have an impact, right?!

Story behind the song
A real life trip that I took to Las Vegas when I was 16 years old with my girlfriend Sandy. We drove their in her mothers big pink cadillac in the late 70's...
Lyrics
When I was just 16 years old Sandy and I thought we scored We took her mama's pink Cadillac, and packed up the back And headed for the lights, of Las Vegas Ya we headed for the lights of Las Vegas Ya I knew Sandy, she was fast But the way she blew thought that town It had to make me laugh While she did her John, she had me waitin' in the car She had me countin' the cracks, the cracks on the dash She said she had no cash, and she'd be right back She had me countin' the cracks, on that old Cadillac Later on that night We met up with a couple of dealers I don't remember their names But their game was blackjack, and I was clueless I got in trouble that night And I haven't seen Sandy since that weekend in Las Vegas Ya I knew Sandy, she was fast But the way she blew thought that town It had to make me laugh While she did her John, she had me waitin' in the car She had me countin' the cracks on the dash She said she had no cash, and she'd be right back She had me countin' the cracks, on that old Cadillac Ya I knew Sandy, she was fast But the way she blew thought that town It had to make me laugh While she did her John, she had me waitin' in the car She had me countin' the cracks on the dash She said she had no cash, and she'd be right back She had me countin' the cracks, on that old Cadillac
