I'm posting this and some other Assault & Battery song's in memory of our brother in metal, Rick Dodd. Rick was the singer of Assault & Battery from the mid 80's to the early 90's he had a unique powerful voice, haunting lyrics, a great sense of humor and we all miss him dearly. All of the songs from the Red Album got more than thier fair share of airplay in Seattle. And for those of you who don't know, this was the true Sound of Seattle, that created the music scene which was destroyed by big record companies telling us what the Seattle sound really was. For a time there wasn't anyone going out to watch live music in this city that didn't know us and there weren't many bands that did not fear us. Rest in Peace Rick. You will not be forgotten.
