I wasn't there when He was cricified! But, the bible says for me He died! Nailed to a cross! My sins to erase! He was hardly even recognized by those He loved the day He died! But, He hung on a cross! Held there in place by His amazing grace! Amazing! Simply Amazing! when Christ stepped out of eternity, He came to die for you and me! To drink the bitter cup and the death He must face. With every stroke of the cutting whip, He took the cup, took a sip. But, a portion reamained! There was still Calvary! His darkest hour was yet to come. When God would turn on His only Son. He, who knew no sin, became sin for me! In His fear, His pain! How could it be? " Eli! Eli! lama sabach thani! " That is to say, " My God! My God! Why have you forsaken me! " He drank of the cup that He was poured! An offering for sins for sure! Your sins and mine! He took our place! Oh, the agony that He went through to prove His love for me and you! Yet, He willingly bacame sin for me through His amazing grace! Amazing! Simply Amazing! When Christ died at Calvary our debt was paid! We were free! If only we believe and seek His face. On that great resurrection day and the heavy stone was rolled away! He rose from the grave to show His amazing grace! Amazing! Simply Amazing! Amazing! Simply Amazing! His amazing grace!
