Story behind the song
made with a ton of things within reach of my computer in my room: broken bike bell, tounge clicks recorded with a mic, harmonica, plastic bird water whistle thing without the water in it, hitting a water glass with a knitting needle, casio melody 80 calculator, scissors opening and shutting, purple slide flute, hitting a bell from a broken kitchen timer, and the squeek of one of those toys in a plactic tube, it makes a wooOOP WOOoop sound when you tilt it, except i just have the whistle from inside the toy. AND a whole lot of reverb on some tracks, and some were reversed, and on some, the pitch was altered. the harmonica was taken on the Gemini 6A flight in 1965 along with some bells, to play "jingle bells" over a broadcast from space. they were the first musical instruments played in space. though, i must say, i wasn't think about that at all when i started recording random sounds... it just all kind of happened.
