This is a song about being in a serious relationship and knowing that it will eventually fail as a result of your own fears and insecurities.

Acoustic guitar-based music inspired by the ups and downs of life experience.
I've been playing guitar and singing for most of my life. The songs that I write draw from life experience, which makes each of them very special to me since they bring back memories of powerful events and feelings. I often call upon a couple of my buds to help add to my originals. You'll hear Billy on the second guitar and Steve on drums/percussion throughout the originals on this page. Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you enjoy my music.

Story behind the song

Lyrics
VERSE 1: too weak to stand when you caught my stare and then you smiled at me and I was not afraid because you pulled me in and built me up and when we talked all night I hoped that we could stay and never fade VERSE 2: hesitating on your parents' couch you stopped me when I didn't want to go any further and you looked in my eyes and really saw me and when you kissed my mouth I wished that it would stay and never fade VERSE 3: I smelled your breath and it was nice because you were so close to me and I cried once or twice because you held my hand all the time and I somehow knew then that it would end this way forever fade
